Stephen Campbell broke the College of Idaho school record in the shot put, placing ninth in the finals on the final day of the NAIA Men's Track & Field National Championships at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.
Campbell was one of three Coyotes in the event to post personal best marks in the event. His third attempt of the preliminaries eclipsed the school record with a mark of 16.93 meters (55 feet, 6.5 inches) – nearly two feet beyond the previous record. His ninth-place finish was the best by a C of I athletes in the meet.
Alec Kuzmack broke his own personal best mark by nearly a foot, taking 19th place with a heave of 15.70 meters (51 feet, 6.25 inches), while
Bryan Terry surpassed his PR with a 21st place finish (15.64 meters / 51 feet, 3.25 inches).
