CORVALLIS, Ore. - For the fourth time this season, College of Idaho thrower
Catylynn Duff has been honored as Embrace Health/Santiam Hospital Cascade Conference Women's Track Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office.
The junior, from Culver, Ore., has earned the award three times during the outdoor season, while also earning the distinction during the indoor campaign.
Duff won the discus on Saturday at the Canis Latrans Invitational and Multi, establishing a new personal best mark and hitting the NAIA "B" qualifying standard with her heave of 43.69 meters (143 feet, 4 inches). She currently ranks among the Top-3 in the CCC in all three heavy throws and ranks No. 4 in the NAIA in the hammer throw.
