Mauer Named CCC Runner of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. - College of Idaho's Larissa Mauer was honored today as Embrace Health/Santiam Hospital Cascade Conference Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office.

The junior, from Spring Creek, Nev., hit the NAIA "A" qualifying mark in the 3,000-meter steeplechase this past weekend at the Raider Invitational.

Mauer, who was the lone competitor in the race, paced herself a time of 11:17 - the fifth-fastest time in the NAIA this spring. She was a 2019 NAIA All-American in the event.
