ASHLAND, Ore. –
Lane Maher broke the College of Idaho 110-meter hurdle school record and
Bryan Terry swept the shot put and discus events, capping Day 2 of the Raider Invitational at Raider Stadium.
Maher won the high-hurdle event with a time of 14.77 seconds, one-tenth of a second faster than the previous 5-year-old school record. The freshman added a victory in the 400-meter hurdles (56.47).
Also on the track,
Casey Senethavilay had a quality day in the sprints – posting times of 11.17 seconds in the 100-meters and 22.56 seconds in the 200-meters – while
Trajan Holtzen met the Cascade Conference provisional mark in the 800-meters (1:57.30).
Terry completed a big weekend by the Coyote throwers – posting marks of 15.33 meters (50 feet, 3.5 inches) in the shot put and 46.17 meters (151 feet, 5 inches) in the discus. Teammate
Stephen Campbell took second in both events, recording a 15.08 meter (49 feet, 5.75 inches) throw in the shot put and a 46.00 meter (150 feet, 11 inches) effort in the discus.
C of I is tentatively set to compete next weekend in a mini-meet at Eastern Oregon, prior to the C of I Last Chance Meet prior to the CCC Championships.
