Terry Sweeps Throwing Events at Grand View Invitational

DES MOINES, Iowa - Competing as the lone College of Idaho athlete at the Grand View Invitational, Bryan Terry had a perfect afternoon, sweeping the hammer throw, shot put and discus events at Williams Stadium.

Terry bested a field of 28 athletes in the hammer, posting a winning mark of 53.40 meters (175 feet, 2 inches). He added a win in the discus (46.34 meters / 152 feet, 2 inches) - just off his season-best mark, while dominating the field in the shot put (15.40 meters / 50 feet, 6.25 inches).

The Yotes will return to action as a team next weekend in Spokane.
