Stephen Campbell placed 11th in the shot put to close out competition at the NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championships inside the Mount Marty Fieldhouse.
Campbell, the school record holder in the event, posted a mark of 15.54 meters (51-feet) – but could not improve on the distance in his final two throws of the preliminaries – falling short of qualifying for the 9-person finals by just over one foot.
The Yotes have yet to announce their schedule for the upcoming outdoor track and field season, which will culminate in May with the Cascade Conference Championship in La Grande and the NAIA Championships in Orange Beach, Ala.
