CALDWELL, Idaho - College of Idaho men's lacrosse head coach
Matt Gier announced today that the Coyotes will forgo the remainder of the 2021 spring season.
The squad, which canceled a match last weekend against the University of Montana, were to have played a scrimmage Saturday with Northwest Nazarene and hosted UNLV on April 11.
The Yotes, who typically have a roster between 20-25 players, have seen the active roster dwindle to less than 15, due to a rash of injuries.
C of I will continue to practice this spring and will look forward to having a full squad return to the field in 2022
