Catylynn Duff was honored as NAIA Women's Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the national office.
The junior, from Culver, Ore., had a big weekend at the Great I-84 Compromise of 2021, winning both the hammer throw and the shot put, while placing second in the discus.
Duff dominated the field in the hammer, recorded the No. 2 mark in the NAIA this season (50.92 meters / 167 feet, 2 inches) – besting the field by over 17 feet. She added the top CCC mark on the season in the shot put (12.23 meters / 40 feet, 1.5 inches) and had a quality mark of 39.26 meters / 128 feet, 10 inches).
C of I returns to action this weekend at the Whitworth Invitational in Spokane.
