CALDWELL, Idaho – Luke White hit a grand slam in a 10-run third inning outburst, lifting Lewis-Clark State to a 21-2 victory over College of Idaho in the opener of a 4-game weekend series at Wolfe Field.
The No. 9 ranked Warriors (15-2, 8-1 CCC) pounded out 22 hits against 10 C of I pitchers in the lopsided win. A total of 48 players between the two teams saw action in the game – including 29 by the Coyotes (13-15, 5-8).

Carter Vieira with a one-out single, but LC answered by sending 14 men to the plate in the third, with White's blast followed by an A.J. Davis 2-run double.
LC added two runs in the fourth and got back-to-back homers from Matt James and Aidan Nagle in a 5-run sixth to blow the game open.
Tallon Thomason worked five innings to pick up the victory, with eight different LCSC players recording multiple-hit games.
Ryan Nolan went 2-for-3 in the loss for C of I.
The two teams will play the middle games of the series tomorrow, with the doubleheader set for Noon.
