Miles-Williams Scores 15, Yotes Hold Off Tech, 69-68

CALDWELL, Idaho – Ivory Miles-Williams led four College of Idaho players in double-figures with 15 points, as the No. 18-ranked Coyotes rallied to defeat Montana Tech, 69-68, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Yotes (7-2) completed a home-and-home sweep of Tech, extending their win streak against the Orediggers to 11 games.

C of I's Johnny Radford broke a 66-all tie with a long 3-pointer with a minute left and the Yotes were able to off a final push by the visitors. A Caleb Bellach put-back dunk got the Diggers (7-3) within a point, but following a defensive stop – a corner 3-pointer from Keeley Bake rimmed out – giving the Coyotes their fourth-straight win.

The game was tight throughout, featuring 15 ties and neither team led by more than five points.

A Radford 3-pointer gave C of I their largest lead at 23-18, but Tech followed with a 9-0 run – including a Bake 3-ball and 4-straight points from Taylor England – giving the Diggers a 27-23 edge.

A 3-point play off a monster dunk from Sindou Diallo lifted MT to a 62-58 lead with just under five minutes to play, but C of I held the visitors without a made field goal over the next three minutes. Radford hit a pair of free throws, Drew Wyman splashed a 15-foot jumper and Miles-Williams converted a runner in the lane – setting up the finish.

Miles Williams finished 7-of-9 from the field – his highest scoring game since the 2019-20 season. Radford made 3-of-4 3's, finishing with 13 points, Wyman tied a season-high with 13 points, with Tyler Robinett posting a career-high 13 points. Derek Wadsworth tied a career-high with seven assists, adding five rebounds and two steals.

England led all players with 20 points and eight rebounds, with Diallo adding 13 points.

C of I finished with a 31-29 rebound edge and made 49-percent of their field goals on the night.

The Yotes return to Cascade Conference play next weekend with road games at Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.
