CALDWELL, Idaho - An 81st-minute goal by Oregon Tech's Anthony Santillan is the lone goal of the game in a physical 1-0 victory over the College of Idaho at Simplot Stadium Saturday afternoon.

The Owls (12-1, 8-1 CCC) held an 11-3 shot advantage in the first 45 minutes, but C of I stayed in the game thanks to goalkeeper

Playing 11-v-10, the Yotes (6-4-1, 4-4-1 CCC) changed the momentum in the second half with five shots in a two-minute span to put the pressure on the away side. However, OIT's overwhelming defense was able to hold C of I to just two shots on target in the entire match.

A red card issued on the Coyotes in the 70th minute evened the players on the pitch, but C of I had their best chance to break the tie in the 76th minute with an
Emil Powles header that was saved by OIT goalkeeper Joel Witts.

OIT was finally able to score in the 80th minute after an long throw-in found Santillan to put OIT up 1-0.

In a game that had a total of 29 fouls, the physical match had six yellow cards and the two ejections.

OIT held a 18-12 shot edge throughout the entire match, while C of I held a 5-2 corner kick advantage.
