PORTLAND, Ore. – College of Idaho distance runners competed today at the University of Portland Indoor Meet, searching for NAIA qualifying marks.
Molly Vitale-Sullivan placed tenth in the top section of the 3,000-meters, establishing an NAIA "A" mark with her time of 10:17.11. Teammates
Larissa Mauer (10:37.67) and
Erin Moyer (10:47.53) narrowly missed the NAIA "B" mark in their sections of the event.
Josh Frey recorded a season-best time of 4:21.14 in the mile run – meeting the NAIA "A" standard on time – but the converted time (due to an oversized track) just missing the provisional national mark.
