SEATTLE, Wash. –
Molly Vitale-Sullivan punched her ticket to the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships with an outstanding performance at the University of Washington Invitational, inside the Dempsey Indoor Track.
Completing against a field of NCAA Division I runners, the senior clocked a time of 17:54.53 – meeting the auto qualifying mark by 24 seconds – becoming the first C of I runner to meet a national cut in 2020.
Vitale-Sullivan is the 2018 NAIA champion in the event and placed fifth overall in 2019.
C of I returns to action next weekend – with distance runners at the Portland Invitational and the remainder of the squad at the Jackson's Invitational in Nampa.
