LA GRANDE, Ore. – College of Idaho pitcher
Hunter Boyd was named to the 17-player All-NAIA West Grouping Baseball Team, announced by the league information office.
The senior, from Moses Lake, Wash., was the Yotes No. 1 starter throughout the season, finishing with a 2-7 record, but posted a 3.40 ERA – ranking among the Top-5 in the league among starting pitchers. Boyd ranked second in the NAIA West in innings pitched (87.1) and strikeouts (76), while limiting opponents to a .219 batting average.

Austin Van Horne was named the NAIA West Gold Glove shortstop after posting a .952 fielding percentage in 187 chances.
Lewis-Clark State's Darren Trainor was named Player of the Year; L-C's Tyler Burch and British Columbia's Niall Windeler shared Pitcher of the Year honors; with LCSC's Jake Taylor and UBC's Chris Pritchett shared Coach of the Year honors.
