CORVALLIS, Ore. - College of Idaho's
Catylynn Duff was named today Red Lion-Cascade Conference Women's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office.
The sophomore, from Culver, Ore., broke C of I's 20-pound weight throw school record at Saturday's Bronco Invitational - placing third with a mark of 16.30 meters (53 feet, 5.75 inches), establishing an NAIA "A" qualifying mark. She added a fifth-place finish in the shot put, recording a personal-best throw of 11.95 meters (39 feet, 2.5 inches).
Duff and the Yotes return to action in mid-January for the Jackson's Invitational.
