Anna Cook hit a pair of NAIA national qualifying marks and
Maya Murphy swept the two freestyle sprints, as the College of Idaho women's swimming and diving team placed fourth at the Slug Shootout at the UCSC Aquatics Center.
The Coyotes recorded 324 team points in the 13-event, 5-team meet - behind NCAA teams Cal State-East Bay (542), Biola (516) and host UC-Santa Cruz (489) and ahead of Mills College (128).
Cook hit an NAIA "A" mark with a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.19), while earning a NAIA bonus cut with an eighth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (26.27).
Murphy improved both of her national automatic marks - winning the 50-yard freestyle (24.32) and the 100-yard freestyle (54.56) - while helping both the 200-yard medley relay (1:54.80) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:47.44) teams shave time of their national cuts.
Caroline Yannelli had a quality day - winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.72) with a season-best time, improving her national mark - while hitting a new NAIA "A" cut with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard IM (2:16.36).
Reina Watkins also met the NAIA "B" standard with a time of 1:03.22 in the 100-yard butterfly.
