KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –
Jack O'Leary scored off a blocked shot in the 68th minute to break a tie, as the College of Idaho earned three key road points with a 2-1 victory at Oregon Tech.
The Coyotes (5-5, 3-4 CCC) improved to 3-0 on the second day of Cascade Conference back-to-back games and picked up their second road win in league play.
O'Leary pounced on a rebound of a
Ben Bechor shot in the middle of the box and drove a low shot into an open net for the game winner.
C of I opened the scoring in the 12th minute, as O'Leary played a cross to the top of the 6-yard-box, with
Ahmet Huremovic driving a shot into the right corner of the net for a 1-0 lead.
The Owls (7-3-2, 4-3) got all-square in the 29th minute following a great run from Noah Pham, driving a low shot into the twine.
The visitors held a slim 10-9 edge in total shots and a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
Parker Billings had two saves in the victory for C of I.
The Coyotes continue their road trip next Friday, traveling to Walla Walla University.
