YOTES DROP TO NO. 2: The parity among NAIA Division II teams continues – as the Coyotes fell one spot to No. 2 in the latest Top-25 poll, released this afternoon. C of I received 297 voter points and a pair of first-place nods from the 12 conference raters – behind Oklahoma Wesleyan – who entered the polling period undefeated (but lost last night to Southwestern of Kansas after the votes had been cast). Preseason No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan is ranked third (receiving two first-place votes), followed by Morningside (Iowa) and Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio). The next ranking is released on Jan. 22 – with C of I playing four games during that stretch.
