CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Four College of Idaho runners placed in the Top-100, helping the Lady Yotes take 11th overall at the 2018 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships at Seminole Valley Regional Park.

The Lady Yotes clocked a five-runner team time of 1:33:31.0 and had just a 29-second spread between their first and fifth finishers – which was the second-tightest pack in the field – but finished with 374 place points.  Cascade Conference champ, Oregon Tech, took the team title (126 place-points), just ahead of Madonna (Mich.) (132), Taylor (Ind.) (134) and Southern Oregon (192).
 
Freshman 
Larissa Mauer had the top finish for C of I, taking 73rd (18:30) in the 340 racer field, with 
Kaitlyn Schut (18:35) just behind her in 79th. 
Tamika Russell placed 92nd (18:41) and 
Erin Moyer took 98th (18:43), with 
Kathryn Craig (19:00) closing out the Lady Yote scorers in 130th-place.
 
It marked the 11th-straight year that C of I has advanced to the NAIA Championships.
