ROCKLIN, Calif. – Three College of Idaho athletes placed in the Top-12, leading the Lady Yotes to a solid third-place finish at the Warrior Invitational at Johnson Springview Park.
The Lady Yotes had a 35-second split between their five scoring athletes, finishing with 65 place points. No. 4 ranked Oregon Tech took the team title, sweeping the podium with 29 points, with No. 10 Southern Oregon in second (44).
Tamika Russell led the Coyote contingent, recording a season-best eighth-place finish (18:10), with true freshman
Larissa Mauer continuing a great first year, taking tenth (18:14).
Kaitlyn Schut took 12th (18:20), with
Erin Moyer (18:37) in 19th and
Zara Anderson (18:45) in 23rd.
C of I will take next weekend off, preparing for the Cascade Conference Championships in Sammamish, Wash., on Nov. 3.
