PORTLAND, Ore. –
Maddie Skaggs scored 11 of her team-high 14 points in the second half, as the College of Idaho secured a postseason berth for the 18th-straight season, rallying to defeat Warner Pacific, 70-62, at Bart Valentine Court.
The Lady Yotes (9-12, 9-6 CCC) won for the third time in a row and snapped a four-game road losing streak – holding the short-handed Knights to 4-of-22 shooting in the final quarter.
C of I trailed 42-36 early in the third quarter, but Skaggs got hot – recording a 3-point play, while splashing a triple and a long jumper on consecutive possessions to pull the Yotes even at 46-46. The Knights would regain the lead at 56-53 early in the fourth quarter, but with just six players in uniform, ran out of steam.

Jaycin Tini gave C of I the lead – starting a 16-4 run that included 3-pointers from Skaggs and
Kiara Skinner – to put the game away.
Skaggs finished with her first collegiate double-double, adding 11 rebounds, three steals and three assists. Case had 11 points and
Savanna Reid came off the bench to have 11 points and four assists.
WPC (4-21, 2-13) got 21 points and 12 rebounds from Bailey Allen – who scored 17 of her points in the first quarter. Kyeli Hendrix had 14 points and nine rebounds, with Darbi Pink scoring 10 – each playing all 40 minutes.
C of I returns to the court tomorrow night with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off at Multnomah University.
