OLYMPIA, Wash. –
Maddie Skaggs scored a career-high 18 points, one of five College of Idaho players in double-figures, as the Lady Yotes won their third game in four outings, rolling past the Evergreen State College, 82-66, inside Costantino Recreation Center.

Skaggs made 8-of-10 field goal tries, as C of I (3-8, 3-2 CCC) made 50-percent of their attempts – the first time the Lady Yotes surpassed the 50-percent mark for a game since 2013-14.

Leading 21-18 after the first quarter, the Yotes got back to back 3's from
Jaycin Tini and
Kiara Skinner, part of an 8-0 run to extend the lead to 33-22.  Consecutive lay-ups by
Petra Lumpert and Skaggs closed out the half, as the visitors took a 46-34 lead to the locker room.

The Geoducks (3-9, 2-4), playing their first game under interim head coach Gil Rigell, cut the gap to 53-44 after two Gabi Fenumiai free throws – but buckets from Tini and
Savanna Reid and a triple from Lumpert fueled a 15-3 Coyote run that put the game away.

Tini had 17 points in the win, with Lumpert scoring 16 and adding nine assists.
Madison Pilster had 11 points and six rebounds, with
Alyssa Case logging 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Fenumiai had 19 points and seven rebounds, with Autumn Moorcroft scoring 14 points in the loss.

The Lady Yotes close out the 2016 portion of the season tomorrow night with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off at Northwest University.
