LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State made 57-percent of their field goal attempts and all 13 free throws, as the Warriors won the Twin Rivers Physical Therapy Classic with a 97-58 win over the College of Idaho inside the LCSC Activity Center.
Six players scored in double-figures for the Warriors (6-0), who are averaging over 100 points per game on the season. Kaylea Knox came off the bench to score 16, with Brittany Tackett adding 15 – as L-C racked up 23 assists and forced 25 turnovers.
Jaycin Tini led the Yotes (0-2) with 20 points, including 8-of-8 shooting from the line, with both
Brittany Wirth and
Madison Pilster scoring 12.
An early 13-0 run by the Warriors helped the hosts build a 37-17 lead at the end of the first quarter – with the nationally-ranked squad never threatened the rest of the way.
