CALDWELL, Idaho - Ripping off a school-record 67 shots, the College of Idaho remained unbeaten on the 2014 season, defeating Puget Sound, 14-7, in Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League action at Symms Field.
Playing in wet and muddy conditions, neither team could get their attack working in the opening period - but the Yotes (3-0) erased an early 2-0 lead by the Loggers to take a 7-4 lead to the break. C of I put the game away in the second half, as V.J. Dahm made 10 saves to preserve the Coyote win.
Dillon Green led the Yotes with four goals and four assists, with Ian Williams adding foru goals and Austin Mendiola tallied three.
C of I hits the road next weekend for a key road match-up at No. 3 ranked Western Oregon.
