ASHLAND, Ore. - Max Raynor and Tom Talley each scored four goals, as Southern Oregon used a big second half to defeat The College of Idaho, 15-5.
Leading 5-2 at the half, the Raiders (4-8, 2-1 PNCLL) outscored the Yotes 10-3 in the second half, including 5-0 in the final period. Goalie Connor Kelley was a "stone wall" in the second half - according to C of I head coach, Matt Gier, making a trio of point-blank saves in the final period.
Austin Mendiola and Ian Williams each led the Yotes (3-3, 0-3) with two goals.
The C of I travels north tomorrow to face the University of Portland.
