CALDWELL, Idaho - Trevor Parker scored six of his 14 points in a decisive 20-2 second half run, as Northwest Christian upset The College of Idaho, 64-57, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Coyotes (12-12, 8-6 CCC) got a back-to-back
Antonio Garrett baskets, including a three-point play, and two
Taylor Pruett free throws in a seven-point surge to lead 36-27 with 16 minutes remaining. However, NCU clamped down, as the Yotes went 1-for-9 with three turnovers over an eight minute stretch, as the Beacons (9-16, 3-10) took control. Parker started the run with a three-pointer, with a Parker three-point play cutting the margin to 38-37. A Wyatt Taboh-Graziano trey gave NCU the lead for good, with a Travis Pacos lay-up with 10:32 to go pushing the margin to 46-37.
The C of I would claw back late, getting a steal and basket from
Ben Van Lith with 25 seconds remaining to cut the lead to 60-57. However, Parker hit 4-of-4 free throws to seal the victory, as NCU hit 50-percent of their second half field goals.
Jordan Buhler had 14 points and 11 rebounds in the win, with Pacos scoring 10. NCU forced 16 C of I turnovers and became just the four team to win the turnover battle with the Coyotes.
Garrett led the Yotes with 15 points and 11 rebounds, with Pruett scoring 12, and Van Lith adding 11. The Yotes made just 34-percent of their field goals and lost the rebound battle, 40-35.
