SALEM, Ore. - Sarah Hicks cracked a one-time shot into the net with just 59 seconds left in regulation, as The College of Idaho rallied to top Corban University, 2-1, at Warrior Field.

Playing with a one-man advantage after a Corban (6-4, 1-1 CCC) player was ejected for fighting in the first half, the Yotes went to work with less than 20 minutes to play. The C of I got the tying goal in the 74th minute, as Brittney Lacey played a perfect corner kick to the far post, finding the foot of Ayala for the goal.
The Yotes (2-4-1, 1-1) pushed forward in the final 15 minutes, getting a pair of corner kicks and seven shots in the stretch, breaking through late, when Hicks corralled a loose ball just inside the box and drove a shot into the upper corner of the goal for the game-winner.
The Warriors got on the board in the 10th minute, as Katelyn Weaver took a touch from Emily Boudreau after a Tera McDonough corner and headed home the first tally.
The C of I had a slim 11-9 edge in shots and 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Yotes return to action next Friday at Eastern Oregon.
