The Lady Yotes set a school record for points in a dual with their 158-45 victory over host Mills College, while routing Cal Tech 152-39 and Soka University 148-47 - each the first time The C of I had ever eclipsed 100 points in a head-to-head match-up.
The day started with a bang, as the team of Logan Gomez, Acadia DeAtley, Kirby Roberts, and Selena Warburton broke the school record in the 200-medley relay, winning with a time of 1:58.00 - the first of nine wins by C of I swimmers.
Warburton would have the swim of the day in the 100-free, winning the event with a time of 56.50, an NAIA "A" standard, and the second-fastest time in C of I history. She would also swim the lead leg in the winning 400-free relay, which hit the NAIA "A" cut by over 14 seconds with their time of 3:58.01 - also the second-fastest in C of I history.
Chrissie Younggren was a two-time winner for the Yotes, setting the school record with her win in the 1,000-free (11:27.47), while also winning the 200-IM (2:22.59).
Roberts earned a win in the 50-free (27.03), DeAtley won the 100-breaststroke (1:13.98), Madeleine Sato won the 200-free (2:08.55), Allie Godfrey won the 100-butterfly (1:06.81), and Tori Emerick earned the win in the 100-backstroke (1:08.13). Though she placed second, Gomez clocked the second-fastest 500-free time in program history (5:42.04).
The Yotes close out the trip by competing tomorrow in the long course Bay Area Invitational.
