AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Beal is in her fourth season as head coach of the women's basketball program. Beal has a career coaching record of 32-46 at the College, helping the Yotes advance to the 2019 Cascade Conference Tournament semifinals, the 2020 CCC quarterfinals and the 2021 CCC Tournament. She has coached one All-American (Alyssa Case), three All-CCC selections, 19 Academic All-CCC selections and 12 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
PRIOR TO C OF I: Spent nine years as head coach at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., recording a 145-140 overall record and three trips to the semifinals of the Region IX Tournament, with her 2017-18 team finishing with a 25-8 record. She spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Eastern Washington and one season at Snow College in Utah.
HONORS: Her 2016 team at NWC was named the WBCA Junior College Academic Team of the Year after posting a cumulative 3.565 grade point average - with her teams finishing in the Top-10 of the NJCAA grade point average standings each of the past eight seasons. Beal's 2012-13 squad was honored with the NJCAA Region IX Sportsmanship Award.
PERSONAL: A native of Lovell, Wyo., Beal won a state title at Lovell High in 2000, earning Wyoming 1A-2A Player of the Year honors in 2001 - and was recently inducted into the LHS Hall of Fame. In college, she earned Wyoming Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year and NJCAA All-America honors at Northwest College in 2003 and is the school's all-time leading scorer. She also earned All Mid-Continent Conference honors at Southern Utah University in 2005.
