AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Matlock is in his second year as an assistant with the women's basketball program and his 16th year at the College. He previously spent eight seasons as an assistant with the men's basketball program and 12 seasons as head golf coach.
PREVIOUS SCHOOLS: Matlock came to C of I after a seven-year stint as head men's basketball coach at Rocky Mountain College, where he compiled a 99-115 record and claimed a conference championship during his first season at the Billings, Mont. school. Prior to coaching at Rocky Mountain, Matlock served as head basketball coach at Northwest Nazarene for nine seasons (1982-91). During his 16 years as a collegiate head coach, he compiled a 232-242 career record. Matlock also served as an assistant coach at Boise State for one season.
PERSONAL: Matlock is a member of the Northwest Nazarene Athletic Hall of Fame. He and his wife, Pamela, live in Caldwell.
