Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Ellis is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote softball program.

2017: Started 42 games in the outfield - recording just one error in 36 chances; hit .319 with 24 runs scored, four doubles and 10 RBI; had 11 multi-hit games, including a 7-for-11 series vs. Carroll, logging six runs scored an two doubles; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team and a NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2016: Played in 31 games, including 24 starts; hit .200 with 14 hits and two RBI; scored 13 runs; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2015: Played in 39 games as a freshman, hitting .330 as part of the Lady Yotes outfield rotation; added six stolen bases, 11 RBI and 21 runs scored; recorded nine multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4, four RBI game vs. Simpson and a 3-for-4 effort at Northwest Christian; had a 6-game hit streak in early April; named to the Cascade Conference Gold Glove Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Twin Falls High, where she helped her team to the 2014 4A state title; also ran cross country and competed on the gymnastics squad.

CLUB TEAMS: Twin Falls Terror and Southern Idaho Ice.

PERSONAL: Studying elementary education; daughter of Rob and Sherri Ellis.
