AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: McLeod started coaching at the College during the 2022-23 season. In his first season at College of Idaho, he helped lead the Yotes on a school record 36-game winning streak and set other program records for wins (36), points scored (3,192), field goals made (1,195), field goals attempted (2,395), scoring margin (22.6), and tied the school record for scoring defense (63.3 ppg). The 36 wins are the most of any other college basketball team in Idaho state history. In his second season (2023-24), McLeod contributed to a strong 32-3 season in which the Yotes reached the NAIA "Fab Four" and secured another Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular-season title.
PRIOR TO C OF I: He was an assistant at Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota and was an assistant at Holy Names University (NCAA Division II) in Oakland, California. Prior to becoming an assistant coach, McLeod was the head student assistant for the University of Nevada, when the Wolfpack were ranked in the top-15 in the NCAA. While at Nevada, he was a part of back-to-back regular season Mountain West championships, a CBI championship win, a first-round NCAA tournament appearance and a Sweet 16 appearance.
PERSONAL: He received his associates degree in Physical Education from the College of Southern Idaho, a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada Reno, and a master's degree in Educational Therapy from Holy Names University.
