Nala is in her second season at The College of Idaho as a support staff professional.

She has been learning a high level of emotional intelligence by developing key relationships with the 'Yotes student-athletes, staff and coaches. She has been a friendly outlet for stress and offered comfort to injured players who were unable to participate in practices and games. It was here that she learned basic commands and an uncanny ability to get whatever she wants.

Nala joined the athletic program along with wide receivers coach Leon La Deaux IV prior to the 2021 football season and quickly made new friends with her calm and approachable nature and her ever-wagging tail.
