  • Title
    Assistant Equipment Manager - Football

Jacob Johnson joined the Yote Equipment staff in 2024 after four seasons as a player in The College of Idaho football program. He now serves as the Assistant Equipment Manager. Jacob’s transition from student-athlete to a key support role within the team reflects his dedication and deep connection to Yote Football.

During his time as a student-athlete, Jacob made significant contributions to the team. In 2022, he was recognized for his academic achievements, earning a spot on the Daktronics NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete list. His commitment to excellence was evident both on and off the field.

In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Jacob saw action in all four games. As a punter, he averaged 39.3 yards per punt, including a standout 61-yard punt against MSU-Northern. His performance in the classroom earned him several honors, including a spot on the Frontier Conference All-Academic Team, NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition, and a selection to the CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-District 4 team.

Before his college career, Jacob was a standout player at Northwest Christian High in Arizona, where he helped lead his team to a 3A state title and made 73-of-77 extra point attempts.
