AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Berrett joined College of Idaho in 2022 as the equipment manager for the Coyote football program and is a certified athletic equipment manager (AEMA). He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. With College of Idaho, Berrett is involved in the selecting, purchasing, issuing, fitting, safety inspecting, laundering, maintenance, and repairing of apparel and equipment. Â
PRIOR TO C OF I: Spent time on the equipment staff, including three years as a student equipment manager and a year as senior student equipment manager at Division I Utah State. As the Senior Student Equipment Manager, he was responsible for the training of new students with supervisory roles with the defensive position groups. He also was involved in the serialization and inventory management utilizing SportSoft Inventory Management. He gained valuable experience as an undergraduate that included helmet maintenance as well as the inventory and organization of equipment, clothes and shoes and with CoachComm X-system. The Aggies participated in the 2018 New Mexico Bowl, 2019 Frisco Bowl and the 2021 LA Bowl and 2021 Mountain West Football Championship. Berrett was also involved multiple pro days and other Olympic sports at Utah State. He earned his bachelor's of science in kinesiology with a minor in history from Utah State to go along with his work in the athletic department.
PERSONAL: Born and raised in Franklin, Idaho. A graduate of Preston High School and Utah State University. At Preston High School, he was a three-sport athlete in football, golf and wrestling. Berrett and his wife Ashlie have three kids, Zaccariah, Aaieiyah and Makai.
