AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Roper joined the Football staff in 2019 as an assistant coach with the Coyote football program, working with the running backs. In 2019, he led C of I to a Frontier Conference best and school-record 3,118 rushing yards. He has coached two All-Frontier Conference selections, Nick Calzaretta (2019, 2020) and Justin Hellyer (2019).

PRIOR TO C OF I: Served as the offensive line coach and run-game coordinator at Rocky Mountain High.
