AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Wright joined the softball program in 2019, working with the Coyotes infield. Spent the 2018 season as an assistant for the Coyote baseball program. Was part of the C of I coaching staff that earned NFCA West Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2021.

PRIOR TO C OF I: Spent two seasons as the starting shortstop at the College of Southern Idaho before spending his final two collegiate seasons at C of I; played for head coach Shawn Humberger in the Coyote baseball program; posted a 1.46 ERA and hit .264 with 36 runs and 32 RBI in 2016; hit. 274 with 18 runs and 20 RBI in 2017. 

PERSONAL: A native of Las Vegas and a 2012 graduate of Durango High in Nevada. Earned his degree in psychology from the College in 2018.
