ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT C OF I:
Sophomore season (outdoor) - 2nd all time throw for shot put, 2nd at conference, qualified for nationals. Junior year (indoor)- 2nd all time throw for weight throw, went to nationals. Junior year (outdoor) - set school record in the hammer throw, 3rd at conference for discus throw, went to nationals.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Athletic accomplishments: Went to state for discus senior year, and set all new school records for squat, bench, incline bench, and deadlift.
In the classroom: Honors all four years, NSHSS
PERSONAL:
Joining the Yote Fam from Bellevue, Idaho, Star was raised by Kelly Beaudet and Ezekiel Herron. Aside from her efforts on the track, Star is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. She chose The College of Idaho because, “I chose C of I mainly because of the PEAK program, and it’s close proximity to home, but am thankful to compete in athletics as well.”
