Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: O'Neil is in his second season with the Coyote men's basketball and golf programs.

2020-21: In basketball, played in 16 games, starting 15, during the COVID shortened season, earning Cascade Conference Freshman of the Year honors; 10.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game - including six double-digit scoring games and five double-digit rebound games; had 29 points and 12 rebounds vs. Multnomah, adding 25 points and 15 rebounds in a road win at Whitworth. In golf, competed in five spring events, recording a 78.25 stroke average over 12 rounds; shot a season-best 71 at both the Bushnell Spring Invite and the CCC Championships, placing seventh overall at the Bushnell Spring Invite.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent the 2019-20 season at Boise State, where he was a redshirt on the golf team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Fruitland High, where he was a 3-year starter and Snake River Valley Conference Player of the Year as a junior and 3A All-State selection, helping his team to the 3A state title; in golf, was the 2018 3A state champion and 3-time District III champ, while recording a 69.8 stroke average as a senior.

PERSONAL: Studying exercise science.
