Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Almaraz is in her fifth season with the Coyote tennis program.

2023: Posted a 7-8 record with a stretch of five-straight wins; played primarily at No. 2 singles; six of seven wins in singles came in straight sets; teamed up with Lauren Kreutzer at No. 1 doubles to post a 6-9 mark; had a pair of two match winning streaks.

2022: Wrapped up the 2022 season with a 4-10 mark in singles and a 5-10 mark in doubles; played primarily at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles with Anna Willcuts for most of the season.

2021: Finished the season with an 0-8 singles and 1-7 doubles record, competing at No. 3/4 singles and No. 2 doubles; named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2020: Posted a 2-5 singles record, primarily at No. 3, while going 3-4 in doubles action - playing at the No.2 position; named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete; will earn an eligibility exemption for the season due to the CoVID-19 pandemic.

2019: Competed in all 11 matches as a true freshman, posting a 4-7 singles record and a 1-9 doubles mark - playing primarily at No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Nampa High, where she qualified for the 2018 5A state tournament in singles competition.

PERSONAL: Studying business and sociology/anthropology.
