Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Tingelstad is in her fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

4K (XC): 13:53.5- CCC Preview Meet (Sep. 15, 2023)
5K (XC): 17:26.3-48th Charles Bowles Willamette XC Invitational (Sep. 30, 2023)
6K (XC): 20:51.5- Cascade Collegiate Conference Cross Country Championships (Nov. 3, 2023)

2023 (Cross Country): Ellyse earned CCC Cross Country Runner of the year, West Region Runner of the year and National Runner of the year for her exceptional performances and consistency during the 2023 season. She clocked a personal best of 20:51.5 in the 6K to secure her fourth consecutive CCC championship title. Tingelstad led her team to national glory with a second-place finish at the NAIA National championships in a time of 21:16.1and was voted most valuable player for the 2023 cross country season.

Selected to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2022 (Cross Country): Named for the All-Academic CCC Team and named to the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team. 

2020-21: In cross country, recorded four Top-5 finishes on the year and was the Yotes top finisher in the final three races of the season...earned All-Cascade Conference honors after a third-place finish at the CCC Championships and NAIA All-America honors after a 33rd-place finish at the NAIA Championships...top 5,000-meter time of 17:46; in cross country, earned All-America honors as part of the indoor 4x800-meter relay team, also competing at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in the 4x800-meter relay preliminaries, placed fourth in the 1,500-meters at the CCC Championships (4:49.56), while also recording a top time of 17:46.87 in the 5,000-meters.


HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Joseph High in Oregon, where she competed in both cross country and track; in cross country (for Enterprise High), finished in the Top-11 in four-straight 1A/2A/3A state meets, including fifth-place efforts in both 2018 and 2019, clocking a career-best 5,000-meter time of 19:13; in track, won back-to-back 1A state titles in the 1,500 and 3,000-meters, recording top times of 4:57 in the 1,500-meters and 10:49 in the 3,000-meters.
