FOOTBALL:
2022: Played in all ten games, shared the team lead with Jon Schofield with nine touchdowns; ran the ball 142 times for 780 yards; fourth in the Frontier Conference in rushing yards (780 / 78.0 ypg); shared the league lead with nine rushing touchdowns; tied for fifth in the league with 54 points; had three 100-yard rushing games with a season-high 153 yards to go along with three touchdowns on 21 carries in the win at Southern Oregon (Sept. 17); his three rushing TDs were the most since Nick Calzaretta had three against Montana Western on Oct. 23, 2021; scored twice on 168 yards on 16 carries in the win at Montana Western (Oct. 22); had a touchdown in five of nine games; caught seven passes for 38 yards; had a season-best 11-yard reception to go along with 82 yards on the ground in the win at Rocky Mountain (Sept. 3)
2021: Played in all 10 games as a reserve running back; second on the team with 190 rushing yards with a season-high five carries against Rocky Mountain; racked up a season-high 41 yards in the season finale against Carroll; scored his first collegiate touchdown against Southern Oregon; caught nine passes for 99 yards...had a season-high four catches for 47 yards against Montana Western; served as the primary punt returner for the Yotes with 24 returns for 251 yards...had a season-best six returns for 87 yards against Carroll...second on the team in all-purpose yards with 540.
2020: Played in two games during the COVID shortened spring season, rushing for 31 yards; had a season-best 22 rushing yards vs. MSU-Northern
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Tigard High in Oregon, where he led his team to the Three Rivers League title in 2019; earned All-TRL honors on both sides of the football as a senior, rushing for 1,388 yards and recording 71 tackles; also ran track, finishing as the 6A state runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (38.16 seconds), while running a 11.55 second 100-meter dash and clearing 13 feet in the pole vault.
PERSONAL:
Joining the Yote Fam from Sherwood, Oregon, Hunter was raised by Gabe and Nicole. Aside from his efforts on the field, Hunter is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in psychology. He chose The College of Idaho because of the yotefam.
