Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Ontiveros is in his third season with the Coyote lacrosse program.

2020: Played in both matches prior to the season ending due to COVID-19; scored a team-high 12 goals with seven assists, adding 11 ground balls; won 14-of-15 face offs; named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2019: Had a banner sophomore season, earning PNCLL Most Valuable Player honors and first-team MCLA All-America honors; scored 37 goals and added 28 assists, setting a school record with 157 ground balls; had a season-high six goals vs. Montana, adding a school-record 19 ground balls vs. UC-Santa Cruz; named to the MCLA Scholar Team.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Transferred to C of I after one year at Division I Wagner, where he was the top face-off specialist; won 56-of-131 face-offs on the season (.427 percent) and ranked fifth wth 24 total ground balls; won 16-of-20 face-offs vs. Dartmouth.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Santa Fe Christian High, where he was a four-year starter and all-time leading scorer in program history (192 points); led his team to a CIF championship as a junior and the Coastal League title as a senior; three-time All-Coastal League selection; also played football as a prep.
