Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Nelson is in his fourth season with the Coyotes.

2015-16: Played all 25 rounds during the Yotes 10 tournaments, recording an 83.1 stroke average; recorded his best tournament finish at the Cascade Conference Championships (78-84-80), placing 12th overall.

2014-15: Played in eight tournaments (20 rounds) during his sophomore season, recording an 83.1 stroke average; recorded a career-best single-round score and 54-hole tournament score (78-75-82) at the Corban Invitational.

2013-14: Played in 11 rounds as a freshman, recording an 86.1 stroke average; had a season-low round of 79 at the Warner Pacific Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Borah High, where he was a member of the golf team; qualified for the 5A State Tournament with his team as a sophomore and qualified as an individual as a senior; a three-time Southern Idaho Conference All-Academic Team selection;

PERSONAL: Studying business; parents Paul and Leslie Nelson.
