Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Sparks is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote swim program.

2016-17: Recorded seasonal best times of 2:07.75 in the 200-free, 5:47.76 in the 500-free and 1:06.16 in the 100-back.

2015-16: Competed at the NAIA Championships in the 200-free (2:03.59), and 100-backstroke (1:04.08) to help the Lady Yotes finish 7th overall; recorded top times in 200-free (2:02.30), 1000-free (12:09.85),1,650-free (19:47.64), 100-backstroke (1:02.60), adn 200-backstroke (2:22.50).

2014-15: Recorded national qualifying marks in five events - 200-yard freestyle (2:04.47), 500-yard freestyle (5:27.04), 1,650-yard freestyle (18:54.33), 100-yard backstroke (1:02.89) and 200-yard backstroke (2:14.57).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Southridge High, where she was a qualifier for the Oregon 6A Swim Championships; had top prep times of 2:02.06 in the 200-yard freestyle, 5:29.23 in the 500-yard freestyle, and 2:14.91 in the 200-yard backstroke.

PERSONAL: Studying business; daughter of Steve and Eileen Sparks; sister Jackie is also a swimmer for the Yotes.
