Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Yizar is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote soccer and basketball programs.

2015-16: In soccer, had one of the more dominant seasons in program history, earning Cascade Conference Offensive Player of the Year and NAIA All-America honors; led the CCC with 15 goals and added five assists, ranking among the Top-5 nationally with seven game-winning goals; recorded a hat trick in a 4-1 victory over Oregon Tech, while scoring two goals in matches against Sierra Nevada, Southern Oregon and Northwest Christian; scored the golden goal in a 1-0 overtime win vs. Eastern Oregon, while scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 win at Carroll; honored as a member of the CCC All-Academic Team; in basketball, played in 22 games, averaging 1.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game; scored a season-high six points vs. Multnomah, while adding a season-high five rebounds vs. Walla Walla; was named a CCC All-Academic Team selection.

2014-15: In soccer, played in 13 matches as a sophomore, scoring three goals and adding four assists, earning second-team All-Cascade Conference honors; scored the game-winning goal in a victory over Northwest Nazarene, while adding a goal and an assist in a win over Warner Pacific; in basketball, played in 24 games as a redshirt freshman, including 16 starts, averaging six points and five rebounds per game; had three double-digit scoring games, including a career-high 16 points vs. New Hope Christian; recorded a career-high 11 rebounds at Corban.

2013-14: In soccer, started all 16 matches as a freshman, scoring two goals and assisting on another; led team with 29 shots, 12 on frame; scored her first collegiate goal in a victory over Great Falls, adding the game-winning goal against Biola; named Cascade Conference Player of the Week on Sept. 2; in basketball, used the season as a redshirt year.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of HIghland High, where she helped her soccer team to the 5A state tournament in 2010, 2011, and 2012; earned 5A All-State, All-District 5/6, and All-High Country Conference honors as a senior..also played basketball as a prep, where she was an All-HCC performer.

CLUB TEAM: Pocatello Fly, team won the Idaho Cup title, also made two Far West Regional appearances
