Horn Earns Second Straight Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week Honor

HELENA, Mont. — College of Idaho junior kicker/punter Josh Horn was named the Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday following another strong all-around performance in the No. 4-ranked Yotes' 63-13 home victory over Rocky Mountain.

Horn earned the weekly honor for the second consecutive week, contributing in multiple phases of the Yotes' special teams effort.

The Boise, Idaho, native was a perfect 9-for-9 on extra-point attempts, helping College of Idaho convert all nine of its touchdowns into seven-point scores. Horn also averaged 42.0 yards on four punts, totaling 168 yards, with a long of 46 yards.

Horn pinned Rocky Mountain inside its own 20-yard line once, forced two fair catches and did not record a touchback or have a punt blocked. He also handled two kickoffs, including one touchback, as the Yotes consistently controlled field position throughout the contest.

The award marks Horn's second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week honor and his second consecutive weekly recognition.

College of Idaho improved to 2-0 on the season with the victory. The Yotes will begin divisional play later this season.
