Horn Named Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

CALDWELL, Idaho — College of Idaho senior kicker Josh Horn was named the first Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week of the 2026 season on Monday following a standout performance in the Yotes' 37-7 season-opening victory over Eastern Oregon.

Horn scored a team-high 13 points in the win, converting all three of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point attempts. He connected on field goals from 19, 32 and 36 yards to help the Yotes build a decisive lead in their season opener.

Horn also handled punting and kickoff duties for College of Idaho, averaging 46.0 yards on two punts with a long of 51 yards. He averaged 65.0 yards on two kickoffs, including one touchback.

The senior also recorded a tackle on a 56-yard kickoff return, capping an all-around special teams performance as the No. 4-ranked Yotes opened the 2026 season with a 37-7 win.
