McMINNVILLE, Ore. — The College of Idaho kept its winning streak alive Saturday, overpowering Linfield 6-1 to complete another dominant stop on its Oregon road trip.
The Yotes swept through doubles without dropping a game. Nicole Tran and Hristina Ljuba dominated 6-0 at No. 2, while Alyssa Johnson and Adele Long matched the feat with a 6-0 win at No. 3. Kinsey Lockhart and Kylie Barrus secured the sweep with a victory at No. 1.
Singles play brought more of the same. Elizabeth Sagehorn delivered a shutout win, continuing the Yotes' streak of clean scorelines. Johnson and Tran each rolled to 6-1, 6-1 victories, while Ljuba and Barrus added straight-set wins of their own to lock up five singles points for College of Idaho.
