College of Idaho Men’s Basketball Secures No. 5 Seed in CCC Tournament

CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho men's basketball team is officially postseason-bound, earning the No. 5 seed in the 2025-26 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank. The tournament bracket was finalized Saturday following the conclusion of the regular season.

The Yotes finished conference play at 14-6, part of a three-way tie with Southern Oregon University and Oregon Tech. Head-to-head tiebreakers placed Southern Oregon third, Oregon Tech fourth, and the College of Idaho fifth.

As the No. 5 seed, the Yotes will travel to face No. 4 Oregon Tech in the CCC quarterfinals on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time.  All tournament games will be streamed live on the CCC Network on UEN. Tickets are available here.

Full tournament seeds are as follows:
1 – Lewis-Clark State College
2 – Eastern Oregon University
3 – Southern Oregon University
4 – Oregon Tech
5 – College of Idaho
6 – Bushnell University
7 – Corban University
8 – Northwest University

Quarterfinal matchups will be hosted by the higher seed on Feb. 25, followed by semifinals on Feb. 28 and the championship on March 3.

The tournament champion will secure the CCC's second automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament. Top-seeded Lewis-Clark State College earned the CCC regular-season title and the league's first automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament after finishing 16-4 and winning a tiebreaker over No. 2 seed Eastern Oregon University. Should Lewis-Clark State also win the tournament championship, Eastern Oregon would receive the league's second automatic qualifying spot.
